Gardant is a textile studio based out of the Midwest with a collection of handmade linen items and a curated collection of vintage inspired home and lifestyle products.  Stocked with items from small vendors, the shop is a collection of expertly crafted items chosen for their beauty, function and quality, in addition to the handmade items from our studio.

Hi!  I’m Susan, seamstress and shopkeeper.    I live on a small farm in the Midwest.  Growing gardens, cooking, decorating and pursuing beauty and creativity in the everyday rhythms of daily life is my passion.  I’m a textile enthusiast, with a particular love for linen and other natural fiber textiles.  I believe in creating beautiful items to be cared for and used again and again, items that make your every day moments beautiful. 

I hope to inspire the pursuit of creative skills as well.  From flowers, to photography, jewelry making to art I enjoy exploring creative venues. I’m honored to have my photography from shop and farm projects included in The Creative Soul Within, a devotional book to Rediscover your Imagination, Let Go of Stress and Develop the Creative Gifts God has given you.  I hope to encourage the pursuit of creative, artisan skills and provide a market venue for their work.
